Practice Sabbath as Worship
As we closed out our teaching time this week, we looked at Psalm 92, also referred to as the Sabbath Psalm. The psalm begins with “It is good to praise the Lord,” which sets the tone for the rest of sabbath. This week as you prepare for your sabbath and during your time of rest, we encourage you to find ways to praise the Lord. What will it look like for you?
Pondering God’s Character
Join us today at ufcwomen.blog as we ponder the truths of the Song for the Sabbath (Psalm 92) and connect them to the charge in Philippians 4:8 to think on all that is true, honorable, just, pure, lovely, commendable, excellent, and praiseworthy. Also, don't miss the REST acronym in today's prayer!
Pausing to Celebrate
Chelsey Duncan reads our Scripture sections, including the Song for the Sabbath, to us today at ufcwomen.blog.
Doing Sabbath Right
Throughout this series on sabbath, we have heard the same question over and over again: “How do I do the Sabbath right?” We want to do things the right way, the way God intends us to, but following a set of rules isn't what sabbath is about. Today Brianna shares the joy and freedom that the Lord gives us as we approach rest. You won't want to miss this wrap-up post.
