A big thank you to Jamie Harms for leading our First Thessalonians study on Thursdays this fall as we joined the UFC family in exploring six discipleship practices that characterize our church. On Thursday, we wrapped up our study with a review and a brief look ahead to what's next for UFC Women as we approach Thanksgiving and Christmas. In today's post, you'll find a brief review of our study from Jamie and a glimpse of several things we're looking forward to in the coming weeks.
Happy Friday, Ladies. This past week we studied the discipleship practice of evangelism — how we share our hope in Jesus Christ with others. If you missed Thursday's teaching, you'll want to click on the link below and take a listen. Jamie Harms shares a story that will remind you just how important hope is in our daily lives. We will meet next Thursday, Nov. 18, to wrap up our study of First Thessalonians. Join us either at 9:30 a.m. at The Barn (child care provided) or 6:30 p.m. at the church offices. And stay tuned! We have something special coming up for the Christmas season.
If you missed Thursday's teaching, join us on the blog today as Jamie Harms shares how sanctification is not just an item on a checklist but about working with Yahweh Mekoddishkem, the Lord who sanctifies.
Join us this week for I Thessalonians 4:1-8 and 5:12-28 as we jump into the discipleship practice of formation.
