Come and See

Practice Testifying: Aubrey Slaeker

Yesterday in the story of the Samaritan woman meeting Jesus, we were reminded that we each have a story to tell of how Jesus has become our Living Water. Stories are powerful and personal. While others may share similarities to your story, they will never have your story. They can try to tell the narrative of your life before and after you came to trust Jesus, but the most powerful testimony will be the one you share. We hope you’ll take time to write out your own story. Today we have the great privilege of hearing Aubrey Slaeker’s story.

Ponder and Pray: John 3-4

Jesus met people just where they were at in life — Nicodemus in his doubt under cover of darkness and the Samaritan woman at the well in her shame. Where did Jesus first meet you? Where does He find you today? Let’s ponder and pray together!

Pause: John 3-4

We’re back in John today to meet three vastly different people — a Pharisee named Nicodemus, a Samaritan woman, and a government official. They shared a common gift, time with the Messiah, who spoke to them with incredible love and compassion. Let’s listen in as Joy in her beautiful South African voice reads John 3 and 4 for us.

Living Water

In her teaching last week from John 1 and 2, Jamie Harms showed how Jesus came to earth as the intersection between heaven and earth. Today from John 3 and 4, she shows us that Jesus meets everyone exactly as they are and offers them to come and see Him.

Praising: John 1-2

Today we’re continuing our hymn series with “Just As I Am” and have the privilege of sharing the musical arrangement by local pianist, composer and recording artist David Nevue.

Practice Testifying: Molly Frank

Join us Thursdays at as women from UFC share their personal stories of how they were invited to “come and see” Jesus and how they chose to trust the Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world. Today Molly Frank is sharing her story with us.
