7 Feasts: Week 3 Links

Last Thursday’s teaching and discussion of Passover led by Jamie Harms was fantastic. She walked us through the seder table elements and explained the four cups of wine at Passover that stand for God’s fulfillment of His promises to the Israelites.

Cup 1: Sanctification — I will bring you out of Egypt.

Cup 2: Deliverance — I will free you from Egyptian bondage.

Cup 3: Redemption — I will redeem you with my power.

Cup 4: Restoration — I will take you as my own people.

How beautiful it is to see how God has also rescued, redeemed, and named each one of us who trusts the life, death, and resurrection of His Son, the final Passover lamb.

This Thursday we’ll be discussing the unleavened bread of the Passover week and its beautiful connection to the New Testament. You won’t want to miss another great time of explanation and discussion at 9:30 a.m. (in person and on Zoom) and at 6:30 p.m. (in person). For more information, email ufcwomen.blog@gmail.com.

Here are a few of the Scriptures referenced this week in Chapter 3, “The Feast of Unleavened Bread,” of Erin Davis’ book 7 Feasts:

I Corinthians 5:6-8
2 Corinthians 5:17-21
Psalm 51
Exodus 12:15-20
Matthew 26:17-29

We encourage you to listen or watch the teaching connected to Chapter 3 before our time together on Thursday. If you’d like a little more context and personal reflection, here are the posts you may have missed in our feasts series here at ufcwomen.blog:
