7 Feasts: Week 1 Links

Many of you came out last week for an introduction to the seven feasts of Leviticus 23, and we hope many more of you will join us this Thursday as we discuss the first chapter of Erin Davis’ 7 Feasts study. Even if you haven’t received your book, please come at either 9:30 a.m. to the Barn, 9:30 a.m. on Zoom, or 6:30 p.m. to the church offices. Contact Jamie Harms at ufcwomen.blog@gmail.com if you’d like to join the Zoom group.

Each chapter in 7 Feasts is packed full of Scripture that we’ll be studying in the next two months. Here are a few of the main ones referenced this week as we jump into Chapter 1, “The Cure for Spiritual Amnesia”:

Psalm 119:9-16
Exodus 24
Leviticus 23:1-2
Genesis 1
Exodus 20

We encourage you to listen or watch the teaching connected to Chapter 1.

Don’t miss the chart on page 30 of 7 Feasts, which you can fill in as you look at sections from Exodus and Numbers. As we review Israel’s history of spiritual amnesia, we are reminded that God has blessed us also with so much, and yet we forget His goodness time after time. The instructions in Leviticus 23 for a weekly sabbath and seven annual feasts caused the Isarelites to be reminded of God’s goodness in their lives. As we study this rich section of Scripture in the coming weeks, may our memories also be reset.
