He is Risen

We began our Holy Week series with Mary, the sister of Martha and Lazarus, anointing Jesus with costly and pungent spikenard, and today, with the scent of burial herbs lingering, we listen as another Mary becomes the first eyewitness to Jesus’ resurrection and declares, “I have seen the Lord” (John 20:18).

In the past weeks, we have invited you to Come and See our Jesus through a journey through the Gospel of John. Today, with Mary and the disciples, we declare, “We have seen the Lord!”
