Prayer: Dear Jesus, I come to this journey through the Gospel of John expectant. I am opening up to the pages of Your story, a true narrative of how You became flesh and walked among Your people. You invite me to come to these words and see You, not just as the “good man” many in this world choose to call You but as the Son of God who came to rescue me from the burden of sin and death. May I not miss You on these pages. I love You, Lord.
Joy is from beautiful South Africa and is married to an amazing American. They lived overseas doing full-time ministry for more than 20 years. Joy, her husband, and their two teenage children have been living in the U.S. for the last year.
