Beautiful Blessings

We welcome Sarah Tompkins to our Friday Thankfulness feature. She grew up in Springfield and went to Oregon State University before moving to Portland for a few years to work for a large commercial construction company. She and her husband Ben decided Portland life wasn’t for them and moved back to Eugene five years ago. They have since had three kids — Abel (4), Solomon (2) and Lucy (3 months). Sarah loved serving in the children’s ministry at UFC and regularly attending the mom’s group. It’s a joy to feature Sarah today.

These are my beautiful kids!  I am so thankful for two rambunctious little boys and a very sweet baby girl.

I am incredibly thankful my kids have a dad who gives them everything he’s got. This is a picture of a typical, epic sword fight in our living room that ensued even after a long day at work.

Sol is snuggling with the world’s sweetest dog, our goldendoodle Gus. I am thankful for Gus’ enduring patience with our kids and also that his hair salon has now reopened.

I am thankful to serve a God who was so creative when He made the earth, and I love getting opportunities to explore it. This is my sister and me paddle boarding at Suttle Lake in Central Oregon last summer.

We just got this trampoline that admittedly takes up most of our backyard, but I am so thankful for a way to wear out the seemingly endless amounts of energy in our boys!
