Friday Thankfulness

Friday is once again upon us which, means it is time to stop and remember all the gifts that God has given us this week. Today we invite Susie Watkins to the blog to share a few things for which she is thankful. Susie and her husband Chris have attended UFC since the Roosevelt days, coming to Eugene first for Chris’ grad school and then deciding to put down roots here. Dentistry and motherhood is how Susie spends her days when she is not finding something fun to do, such as running, hiking, biking, or playing with friends. If you have not met Susie yet, you should. She is a kind friend and lots of fun!

I am thankful for extra time to cook and bake, especially with my daughter Renee.

We have had time to play board games. Before this season, we had not taught the kids games such as Power Grid because the game takes two hours to play!

I am thankful for my husband as he uses his design and building skills to make our house better.

The yearly springtime blossoms remind me of God’s constancy in the midst of much uncertainty.

We are adopting an English Shepherd puppy today, and we are giddy with excitement!
